Hopefully They Will Get Their Revenge

Abu Risha, the Sunni sheik that President Bush met with last week was killed earlier this week. His funeral took place today. The mourners are vowing revenge on Al Qaeda. Hopefully the work Abu Risha did will not die with him. If the Iraqis can join together against Al Qaeda, who they are clearly getting tired of, maybe some of the sectarian violence will dimenish, and we can get on our way to get our men and women home. Hopefully the model Abu Risha used will work in other places in Iraq. According to the article the military is looking at implementing it elsewhere.

The big question to me is whether or not the Shia will get in line. I still think Muqtada needs a 500 pound bomb dropped on his head.
