The Clash of Supposed Civilizations

We have all been told that we are in a clash of civilizations with the Islamic world. I bought that line of reasoning for quite some time. The truth is a bit different than this now cliché phrase would have us believe. We are in a clash between civilization and non-civility. Our enemies would plunge the world back into the dark ages if they were allowed to realize their goals.

This post is not about a sudden realization on my part that Islamofascism is in fact evil. The evidence for this case is overwhelming. The myriad of hijackings, bombings, 9/11, disgusting beheadings, suicide bombings, murdering of children, and systematic torture of anyone and everyone, is more than a damning case. Only the lunatic fringe tries to excuse the tactics of the hardened terrorist. The story I read this morning about the protests in The Sudan, story, awakened me to the fact that Islam itself is in fact evil and far from anything that can be called civilized. It was not some sort of epiphany however. I have believed that Islam was a backwards despotic nightmare of a religion and political system for some time. This story just confirms that I guess.

The image of hundreds of people calling for the death of this teacher while moving about with sticks and swords in their hands is what got me. This is civilization? It is reminiscent of a band of European peasants coming after an innocent supposed witch with their wooden pitchforks, scythes, and flaming torches. "Burn her!", they scream. Well, this imams proclamation is not much different.

Imprisoning this lady does not satisfy the thirst of Muslims in Sudan. But we welcome imprisonment and expulsion.

The thirst of Muslims? What kind of depraved death cult are we dealing with here? They are bloodthirsty savages. This woman did nothing wrong. Her children named a damned teddy bear Mohammed, and all hell broke loose. Who gives a crap if Muslims are offended anymore? When are they not? They have offended me dozens of times. Of course I am not likely to chop off someone's head for offending me or my religion. They however knee jerk to death to the infidel at any perceived slight.

As Sir Winston would say, we are better than these people. Our western, and specifically English-speaking civilization is the greatest the world has ever known. We must defend it against these mongrel hordes of savages, and those who seek to appease them.

Islam is not a religion of peace. It is a barbaric political system that is used to concrete power for the few, by brutalizing the many.

Osama Speaks!

Here is a supposed transcript of his latest video.

Link

The thing I always find intriguing about his speeches and Zawahiri's is their remarkable resemblance to libtard propaganda. Read the transcript, the similarities are pretty frightening really. It shouldn't shock anyone though. Look at all the faux-terroristas at any anti-war rally.

Communist Islamist Goodness

What a gold mine of ill-conceived thought, lies, conspiracy theory, and Islamist AND Communist propaganda I have stumbled onto. I found it in no other place than good 'ol Al Jazeera. You know, the terrorist's news network. They are quick to condemn the 'atrocities' of Abu Ghraib, while at the same time cheerfully showing people's heads being sliced off.

This wonderful article was on their front page as the main story. The 'writer' is one Brian H. Appleton. From some simple Googling he seems to be an American turned Iranian Islamist zealot. I am assuming he was an American or is still based on his name and some brief reading I came across about him on the web. His Muslim name is Rasool Aryadust apparently.

Let's take a look.

Bush cleverly used 9/11 fear factor to impose his agendas.

The title already sounds like a nutty moonbat piece. Trust me it gets a lot better. This entire article seems so 2005 libtard sheik[sic]. It is such a glorious amalgam of leftist / Islamofascist pablum.

Build and buy bigger SUV's and Humvee's and invade Afghanistan and Iraq. Now they plan and scheme to invade Iran even before poor Iraq is put back together again by American firms generously handed hundreds of contracts by this administration in a winner takes all in your face gesture to deride any nation which dissented over the invasion.

What an opening salvo! The first line combines the environment with an attack on middle class SUV owning Americans, and the two invasions. The paragraph is actually only two sentences, and the second one is a doozy. He throws in the 'contracts for Bush's buddies' theory, the 'cowboy diplomacy' canard, and works in a bit about how Bush is stifling dissension. What a genius!

The facts of course are in direct opposition with his 'reality'. America is making smaller vehicles and less people are buying big SUVs. The Humvee hasn't changed in the least. The impending Iranian invasion is taken straight from the liberal talking heads of the MSM. Yes, in fact, the Pentagon has a plan to invade Iran. We have plans to invade all of our potential enemies. Always have and always will. It is called responsible planning. The Clinton administration's Pentagon did the exact same thing. To not plan for such a scenario would be folly.

The Halliburton story has been done to death. I don't even want to re-drudge that dead dog. The writer seems to have skillfully woven in every moonbat theory ever invented.

Gone are the days of world community. The UN is made a laughing stock. Now it is back to "the law of the jungle" and "might equals right."

The UN was made a laughing stock by the way it handled Saddam. He flaunted their resolutions for a dozen years and new they would never do anything to enforce them. What he did not understand was that he was not dealing with Bill Clinton in the White House any longer. This paragraph also insinuates that Bush acted unilaterally in his decision to invade Iraq. The truth is he had a coalition of dozen's of countries put together.

The net result of renewing the arms race has been to make the world a more dangerous place. Bush ended the long standing Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Treaty and is installing a new generation of long range missiles in Alaska. Gone is the era of nuclear disarmament. "Global economy" and "spreading democracy" are euphemisms for economic imperialism or American mercantilism. The "War on Terrorism" is a euphemism for a war on dissidents.

Boy the rambling statements of 'fact' just keep coming. We left the ICBM treaty for good reason. We are faced with enemies that are not part of that treaty who are in fact developing deliverable nuclear weapons. Economic imperialism and mercantilism? That is quite rich. Maybe the writer should look up the numbers on America's trade deficit. What a completely stupid statement. Trust me Mr. Persia, the WOT is not euphemistic at all. The aim is to stamp out radical Islamofascists such as yourself. Your worldwide caliphate will not happen as long as America is around to stop it. We are not fighting dissidents, you morally devoid cretin. We are hunting down and killing those who killed our people. We are in fact freeing those oppressed by the people you love so much. I could go on for days about how despicable this thought is, but there is to much more wrong with this article to comment on.

Bush wages his wars without consulting the State Department, the CIA or the Pentagon. He has filled his private councils with hawkish Zionist advisors from the American Enterprise Institute. In his second term he is canning anyone who disagreed with him in his first term thus consolidating his sycophants around himself.

This is complete bullhocky. The Department of State, CIA, and the Pentagon are all under his purview as Commander in Chief. He meets with his cabinet all the time, and in fact took their advice on Afghanistan and Iraq. What a completely stupid comment. Equally stupid is the AEI reference he has thrown in. Give it up comrade. The true feelings of the writer can be seen in one word, Zionist. This man is a anti-Semite Islamist bigot. The only major person that has been let go is Donald Rumsfeld, who all the leftards hated anyway.

The Bush administration is laying siege to the environment and is selling off public lands. It is once more trying to ram drilling for oil in the Alaska wilderness through Congress without debate. Bush is trying to privatize the Social Security system. Nothing in his policies is intended to help middle America and the working class. He has cleverly used the fear factor of 911 to impose his agendas.

The administration is doing nothing of the sort. It has invested more money in alternative fuels than any administration before however. The Alaska drilling proposition has been dead for years. People as stupid as you made sure that didn't happen. They used pseudo-science and emotionalism to defeat it. The Social Security system reform was also ruined by you fools.

Cheaper domestic oil would help the lower and middle class. So would easing the burden on the young workers SS is going to place on them in the near future. His agendas have largely not been instituted. Maybe you have forgotten that here in America we have a legislature that creates laws. I know you are probably used to the stinky bearded Mullahs telling you what to do in Iran, so you may have forgotten.

Congress has been a rubber stamp giving Bush unusual authority under the War Powers Act even though a "War on Terrorism" is not really a war but an artifice existing only in the abstract and could go on forever with enemies imagined or real everywhere and nowhere and he is bankrupting our children's generation to pay for his follies.

Bullocks. The Congress is scheming to reduce the POTUS' powers that have always existed at times of war. The WOT is very real, as I am sure a lot of your dead Islamofascist buddies can attest. Ask Khalid how real it is.

Osama bin Laden is still on the Bush payroll; witness how Osama emerged from hiding after all this time just prior to the presidential election to advise Americans to vote for Kerry. This was a perfect way to use the fear factor to get the swing voters to vote for Bush because "By God, he is not afraid to bomb our enemies."

This is golden. How completely devoid of thought the writer must be to actually believe this is plausible. OBL is on the Bush Payroll. There is zero credibility with this guy at this point. The first sentence was enough for me, but this lunatic conspiracy is just to much.

Who has benefitted from 911? The military-industrial complex and the intelligence community! Their Iraq war against imaginary WMDs has created the largest national deficit in U.S. history. Meanwhile our public schools lay off staff and go wanting for materials at best and at worst they close down. The Patriot Act has assaulted our civil liberties. We are living in another McCarthy Era.

Who has benefited from 911? I would say the answer is obviously no one. Duh! The terrorists of Al Qaeda sure guessed wrong on America's response. We are losing our blood and treasure as a result of it.

Another McCarthy Era? I wish that were true. What a glorious time I would have seeing the Senate call out our internal enemies such as yourself.

Wake up people! Who is this administration really serving? What have they done for you lately? All they have done for you is make air travel into a major pain in the ... but not any safer...

Yep, total commie. The government does not need to 'do anything for me'. I am not sucking on the teat of the nanny state. Boohoo, you have to take off your shoes at the airport. As to safety, I haven't seen anymore planes flying into buildings have you? Do you know something we don't comrade?

Where is the national debate, where is the dialogue in Congress, it is time to argue...

Get up off of that bath rug you pray one and open your eyes moron. The debate is everywhere. WTF?

And while we talk about that, it is time to question the Keynesian Economic theory of Grow and Grow which has been driving this global economization for the past 40 years... has putting multi national corporations in charge of the world and in charge of your life really improved the quality of your life? I think not. Where is the end of a philosophy which preaches that if an economy is not growing it is failing?

Every day I look at world more and more crowded and competitive, and with depleting resources. I see technology being used to replace human jobs as cashiers in retail stores and airline passenger checkers and telephone receptionists. What is to become of all the people whose jobs have been lost to technology so that a capitalist can cut his costs?

Look how the flight of capital has destroyed entire sectors of our economy like farming and manufacturing so that capitalists can take advantage of cheaper labor in China. In 30 years when all the workers of the world are demanding the same pay and a clean environment what will the capitalists do then?

Zing! Out comes the inner communist.

Note: I wrote this post a few weeks ago, and forgot to post it. The point of it is to illustrate the kind of propaganda that is being fed to the people of the Muslim world.

Iran hostage video

Here is a video Iran has released of the hostages they kidnapped from Iraqi waters.

This sickens me. Luckily I heard yesterday that American forces have the right to defend themselves in a similar situation, should it come up. The fact they made the female sailor wear a head scarve really pisses me off.

More info.

SkyNews Story

Apparently they were forces to confess that they were in Iranian waters, while the Brits released info that proves they were not.

Iraq insurgents used children in car bombing

Story

This is sick. Chalk up another mark for our enemies savagery. This should prove to all those terrorist appeasement wimps out there that our enemy is fighting for keeps. It won't make the slightest difference to them though unfortunately.

Insurgents in Iraq detonated an explosives-rigged vehicle with two children in the back seat after US soldiers let it through a Baghdad checkpoint over the weekend, a senior US military official said Tuesday.
The vehicle was stopped at the checkpoint but was allowed through when soldiers saw the children in the back, said Major General Michael Barbero of the Pentagon's Joint Staff.

"Children in the back seat lowered suspicion. We let it move through. They parked the vehicle, and the adults ran out and detonated it with the children in the back," Barbero said.

Allah al Akbar!

Chalk up another victory for the religion of peace!

Hang Him High!

Yes friends the Islamic street in Indonesia is clamoring for the hanging of the editor of Playboy in that bastion of peace-loving tolerant Muslims. What did he do? Nothing at all! The magazine had no nudity in it, and apparently was less racy than many other rags for sale in the country. He was convicted of violating the 'moral norm'. Maybe Larry Flynt needs to drag his old crusty ass over to Indonesia for a bit. Wait, that's right. They have no freedom of speech.

Sharia Targetia? Inshallah!

What in the hell is going on?

Sharia at the local Target Store

At the Target store on E. Lake Street, a cashier wearing a hijab looked uncomfortable when I showed up at the cash register with a frozen pepperoni pizza. She immediately called for help, and another employee rang up the pizza and placed it in the basket.
I asked her if it was because she was Muslim, and she nodded her head. "I can't even touch it," she said.

The E. Lake store has only has a few aisles of food. How do Muslim workers adapt in Super Targets where there are full-fledged grocery sections? And is anyone other than this caller bothered by this? Are there some Muslim workers at Target who feel they have to suppress their beliefs to avoid conflicts?

You have got to be kidding me! These people are trying to take over our country and force us to bend to their religious wills. This is just one of a myriad of stories. Another recent one involved Imams telling the followers it is OK to evade income tax because it is against Islam to pay them. Let's not forget the cabbies that refused to give rides to Americans carrying booze they brought back with them from their vacations. This is the domestic Jihad. It is a slowly creeping chimera, that will take us over if we do not stop it sooner rather than later. All one has to do is look at France where whole sections of town are no-go zones for the police because of the Muslims that inhabit them. The awesome part is, the housing is provided by the government!

Why we are better than our enemy

A GI was convicted of raping a 14 year old Iraqi girl, and murdering her and her family. He was sentenced to 100 years in prison.

Story

This is a story of depravity. I don't care about the soldier's excuses of fatigue or anything else. He is a disgrace, and he has been thrown out of the Army and into prison were he belongs.

This case proves we are better than our enemy. You are probably wondering how this savage act proves this. It is very simple. We punish our own. In parts of the Muslim world the victim would be seen as the guilty party. Had she not been murdered, she would have been, because of her disgraceful rape. They see it as her fault. Even if it isn't her fault in their eyes, she must die because she is now unclean.

This is but one example of why we are better. We punish the murderers and rapists among us. The enemy celebrates those that blow up women and children as martyrs. We have fair trials, were we are judged by our peers and evidence is presented. They have roving bands of thugs who act as judge, jury, and usually executioner.

Their hypocrisy knows no bounds. Take Abu Ghraib for example. They were incensed at the 'atrocities' carried out there. Some of soldiers mistreated some prisoners by putting underwear on their head and taking dirty pictures of them. The terrorists on the other hand take innocent civilians and slowly slice their heads off. We punished those of us who committed the acts at Abu Ghraib, just as we have in the aforementioned case. They see their murderers as heroes.

The Europeans are intent on insuring their own desctruction

Making fun of stupid, self-destructive, socialist, liberals, will most likely be a recurring theme of this blog. Let's face it. It is just to easy! Anyway, the Guardian is a shining example usually of what is wrong with Europe and leftists in general.

In this example we will explore the blog of Rasoul Movahedian, who apparently is connected with the Iranian embassy in London. The article is entitled 'Iran is a Force for Peace'. Giggle. The real fun is that the Guardian links to it from their home page and hosts his blog. It is right under an unsourced article that says basically 'the US is lying about Iran, just like they did in Iraq'.

This is part of a pathelogical recurrence that for the life of me I can not understand. I mean, granted the left hates America, and the West on a global scale, but I just don't get their fascination with murderous Persian/Arab regimes. Why do they consistantly ignore the atrocities of the grubby little dictators, and blame America/Western Civilization first? This is a question that I have no answer for. Blame freedom first is a recurring theme. Before the Islamofascists it was the Communists in Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. The still love them of course, but those that would slit their throats seem to be the latest target of their unbridled adoration.

But I digress...Let's look at this wonderful article.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/story/0,,2018309,00.html

The latest salvo of rhetoric against Iran betrays a grand design to demonise the country and trigger a new adventurism in the highly sensitivePersian Gulf region. Again and again the "Iranian threat" is invoked as partof a neocon agenda to deepen US military involvement in the area. But its goal - to downgrade Iran's role in the region - is both implausible and illfounded.

Alright here we go. It is all the neocons fault. They just want to have military adventures here and steal our land. Sound familiar? It does to me. It sounds just like the pablum the Left dribbles consistantly. We don't want war with Iran, but I know for a fact that they will not be allowed to create the caliphate they want as long as people like Dubya are running the show here in America.

Iran, by contrast, has demonstrated throughout its history a belief in constructive engagement in international relations, at the same time as holding firm to its right to retain its important regional role. Our civilising contribution to the history of the region and the world is beyond doubt - and we are the region's largest democracy, so of course we hold influence. But that influence has never had any imperial aspiration. Iran's national security doctrine is defensive and does not consider military might to be an instrument of foreign policy.

Pass me some of what you are smoking! Constructive engagement? Like when you turned your country into a theocratic nightmare, and held 400 Americans hostage? Civilising contribution? Again this has got to be a joke. You are a backwards fascistic theocracy, that is ruled over by Islamist psycho-Clerics. Let's not get ahead of ourselves with the democracy stuff. Yes Iran holds elections for that sham legislature, and the President's office.

The problem is the Council of Guardians and the Supreme Leader (read aforementioned pshyco-Clerics), have to abet the candidates first. Even once they are elected they hold no true power. The Supreme Leader is holding all the cards. There has only been two of them since the revolution in 1979. As for imperial aspirationg, again how are you trying to kid. Your own President speaks of bringing about the end of the world, and creating a Islamic calaphate that rules the world. Your military has never been allowed to be used to enforce your anti-semetic hate-filled foreign policy.

Iran has friendly, neighbourly and constructive relations with all countries in the region. Neither Iranians nor Arabs wish to repeat the bitter experience of the 1980s that followed Saddam Hussein's attack. Iran has appealed to Shia and Sunni alike to refrain from acts of violence. It condemns all atrocities in the either's name. It neither interferes in the domestic affairs of Iraq nor supports violence inside Iraq.

You lying bastard. That pretty much sums up that paragraph.

Given that we have been the victims of Saddam's aggression, it's entirely reasonable that we try to establish security across our long common border with Iraq. But it is not Iran that has invaded and occupied Iraq. It is the US and its allies. Iran has supported the elected government of Iraq and will not spare any effort that can contribute to its reconstruction, development and security. After all, a more secure Iraq means a more secure Iran.

This seems perfectly reasonable. To bad it to is a lie. You have sown nothing but discord between Sunni and Shia, and are looking to take over Iraq as soon as America leaves. This is of course the reason we must stay and fight. The Iraqis must be given the power to protect themselves.

As a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, Iran retains the right to benefit from a civil nuclear programme. We demonstrated our sincerity to the world by sitting at the negotiating table for more than two years and suspending all our peaceful nuclear activities to show our goodwill; the result was nothing tangible, but a plan to develop Iran's peaceful enrichment technology.

Last year, however, on spurious legal and technical grounds, the case was further politicised by taking it away from the board of the International Atomic Energy Agency, where it belongs, and to the UN security council. Resolution 1737, passed in December, was based not on facts but on suspicion, and undermined the credibility of the council. Political mischief should not be played out through the security council, and neither bellicose talk nor military adventurism will bring a halt to Iran's peaceful nuclear enrichment programme - a programme that sits within the bounds of the non-proliferation treaty.

Suspended what? You have been enriching uranium night and day, even though the Security Council told you not to. You have also refused very reasonable offers over and over. You have basically thrown your program in the face of the international community and dared us to do something about it. It is not within the bounds of the treaty. If it were the IAEA would not be up your ass about it.

Any threat on the part of the United States government to initiate another military conflict in the region can only trigger new crises, wildly jeopardising global security and stability. We believe in a solution through negotiation and dialogue, a dialogue that addresses concerns on both sides, and in the meantime guarantees our inalienable right to pursue peaceful nuclear energy activity.

Short-termism must not overshadow the pursuit of long-term cooperation. If the present mindset can be replaced by a mentality of constructive interaction, a mutually acceptable outcome remains a real prospect. Real impetus would come from a recognition of the rights and the role of Iran in the region and the world. We genuinely hope a new phase of unconditional and sincere negotiations will resume in that direction.

You no more believe in dialogue than the moon is made of cheese. Your President constantly claims that you will destroy Israel and/or America. Neither will happen. You will surely be destroyed first. Unconditional negotiations are an interesting thought.

I did not mean to talk about this article completely in depth, so I have not. The point is the Guardian represents the socialistic leftist view in Europe. That the have something like this on their site is a prime example. Looking at the comments makes it worse. Those that disagree with the man do so in an almost apologetic, and weak tone.

France and Britian must realize what is happening to them. They are being taken over, and are being set up to become Islamic third world states if they do not take control of it now.
